Fearless Decorator Feature: Nick Olsen

I came across Nick Olsen's work while browsing the Internet while looking for decorators who don't shy away from using bold patterns and colours. Immediately, I loved his interiors that were sophisticated, yet vibrant and colourful, with a touch of whimsy. He studied architecture and interred with Miles Redd's interior design firm before starting his own company. He mixes patterns and styles skillfully, while keeping rooms cozy and inviting.

I love everything about this room. When you put purple and yellow together, normally they create a high contrast colour palette, but the mustard shade subdued yellow and dark purple mixed with the soft warm gray tones give a beautiful, harmonious yet interesting tone to this space.
