Summer Thornton is a Chicago base interior designer known for her colourful and bold interiors. Summer firmly believes that you should have some old, vintage pieces in your home along with the new ones. I completely agree. If you only have new objects, there is no story to tell, your room will seem too sterile and impersonal. In an interview for Luxe & Concord she also cautions her clients to stay away from trends, and use colours and patterns that reflect their own personalities.
